February 20, 2018: MAVEN Project Educational Session, Cardiology:
The MAVEN Project is very excited to announce our upcoming Educational Sessions! As always, these sessions are presented via Zoom videoconferencing, and consist of 20-30 minutes of a presentation and 15 – 20 minutes of Q&A. Our volunteers are eager to discuss your patients, so please don’t hesitate to come with questions or cases you’d like to discuss.
Speaker: Dr. Alex Yi
Specialty: Cardiology
Presentation Title: Hypertension – Current and Evolving Concepts
Bio: Dr. Yi graduated from UCSF with an MD PhD. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell, and then moved on to a fellowship in cardiology at Mass General Hospital. He conducted basic science research there and joined the division as a junior faculty member before moving to industry where he continues to conduct research.
Description: Dr. Yi will be discussing Hypertension management in a Primary Care setting. Please bring your questions!
