ABOUT RCHC

MapAs a network of clinics and community health centers, we are dedicated to strengthening a community-wide system of primary care health services available to our diverse and multi-cultural populations.

The service area is located north of San Francisco, California, and includes frontier rural, agricultural, suburban and urban communities with a total population of approximately one million people, where almost 10% of the total population lives beneath the federal poverty level and 24% lives beneath 200% of the poverty level. 

The two most significant ethnic groups are white non-Hispanic (68% of the population) and Hispanics (24%). Hispanics are the fastest growing segment of the population. 14% of the total population has no insurance and 11% use Medi-Cal or Healthy Families (SCHIP).
