What is the AmeriCorps Program of Northern California?
Redwood Community Health Coalition (RCHC), in collaboration with the Alliance for Rural Community Health (ARCH), hosts an AmeriCorps program called the Community HealthCorps of Northern California. The HealthCorps is a product of a strong partnership between the Corporation for National and Community Service, the National Association of Community Health Centers, ARCH and health centers throughout northern California.
As a member of the Community HealthCorps you will participate in community service and gain skills in community health education and outreach. HealthCorps opens doors for personal and professional development while learning an ethic of community service. During your tenure, you will work in Community Health Centers and /or health organizations throughout Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma Counties.
