SoCo May Close Downtown SR AIDS Clinic

Sonoma County is moving toward closing the HIV/AIDS clinic in downtown Santa Rosa. Under the plan, people served at the site would be referred to three other local facilities, including the Southwest Community Clinic in west Santa Rosa, the Alliance Medical Center in Healdsburg and the West County Health Center. Officials say they can't afford to keep the downtown center operating and the money save will go toward supporting the other facilities.
